Hello, my name is Aleksandra and I am currently in my fifth month of living and studying in South Korea.
My fascination with this country started back in 2014 when I became interested in Korean culture, music and cinematography.
After finishing school I realized that I wanted to start learning a second foreign language, but with European languages did not add up, and English alone was not enough for me. Then my friend advised me to pay attention to Asian languages. That's how Korean came into my life. I started studying it myself: I learned the alphabet and a couple of simple phrases.
Then, while studying at the institute, I found Korean language courses at the Cultural Center at the Embassy of South Korea in Moscow. Having started to study the language as a hobby I reached the TOPIK I level 2, after which I realized that I wanted something more serious.
After graduating from university, I decided to take a Korean language course in Seoul. I had never been to Korea before, so I realized that I would need help.
So, searching for information on the Internet, I found out about Inter-K Education. A wonderful team that helped me choose a university, sort out the documents and achieve my dream.
The consultants answered all my questions and tried to make this difficult path as easy as possible.
And I finally found myself in Korea. Now I am studying at Sejong University on Korean language courses. The teachers here are great: they joke a lot, answer all my questions and take their work as seriously as possible.
At the end of the first semester, I had the best GPA in my group and received a small scholarship. We also started a dance club for Korean language students in mid-March.
A choreographer from SM Entertainment and back dancers from the group NewJeans came to the opening. We learned a piece of choreography together, after which the teachers chose the top 3 best. And I was incredibly happy to be in that top 3, being recognized by the professionals, after which I did a short interview with our local reporter.
My life since coming to Korea continues to boil every day. I am incredibly happy to be in the land of my dreams and accomplish my goals. All thanks to the team of Inter-K Education.
For those who have doubts or are afraid of global changes in their lives, I have a word of advice: Go for it, it's all in your hands! It's time to start fulfilling your dreams!
